Beberás de la Copa de tu Hermana is a white wine with a fine and sweet nose, full-bodied and enveloping. This wine is made from grapes selected from the micro-plots that Fil. Loxera y Cía has in Fontanars dels Alforins. The varieties used to make this wine are Macabeo, Malvasía, Monastrell and Verdill. The 100% Mediterranean vineyards are worked in a traditional way and without the use of chemical products that harm the environment.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Straw yellow colour with a sensation of density.
Nose: The nose is fine and sweet, with hints of ripe white fruit intermingled with those from the lees ageing and the creamy notes from the ageing in French oak.
Palate: On the palate it is complex with hints of flowers, white and ripe stone fruits, pastry and yeast flavours. It has a creamy and long finish, leaving a sensation of freshness and cleanliness.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Valencia.
WINEMAKING: Made with Macabeo, Monastrell, Verdil and Malvasía varieties.
AGEING: Ageing of 8 months during which 70% of the time is spent in steel tanks, 15% in barrels and the remaining 15% in used acacia barrels.
CURIOSITIES: One of the youngest wineries in l'Alforí and another of the so-called garage wineries. With a limited production, from their own land and with an almost artisan production, the wines of Fil.loxera & Cia offer products with personality and character. Their wines show their knowledge of the area and their desire to make their own personal wine from the micro-plots they own, respecting the native varieties and even recovering some that have been lost, such as Arco, Ullet de Perdiu or Valensí.
