  • Color: dark cherry.
  • Nose: Complex aromas of black fruits with hints of vanilla.
  • Mouth: On the palate, velvety, meaty, full-bodied, well structured with fine and elegant tannins. Perfect union of wood and wine. Long aftertaste.

ELABORATION

The harvest is 100% manual. In recent years, half of the production is collected in boxes of 20 kilos, the grapes are expanded on the classification tables. This makes it possible to ensure that only completely healthy, whole grapes reach the fermentation tanks.

18 months in barrels and 42 months in the bottle.

Due to its great concern for quality and thanks to a strong investment, Protos has developed a unique R + D + i program that not only analyzes grapes, but also works on barrels purchased from different suppliers.

CURIOSITIES

Protos' philosophy at work is 'Quality above all else'. For this reason, the entire process that leads to the production of wine is subjected to in-depth analysis. The vineyards are exhaustively controlled by technicians and experts throughout the growth cycle, obtaining a production of the highest quality. This also gives them detailed information about all the grapes used in the brew before they arrive on the premises.
