Vidilla Verdejo Eco is a white wine that has been crafted from grapes coming from certified organic vineyards following European Union regulations. The vineyards of the Verdejo variety, indigenous to the area, are planted on sandy soils covered with boulders and are located in the south-eastern part of the province of Segovia.
TASTING NOTES:
Sight: Straw yellow colour.
Nose: Aromas of white fruits intermingled with herbaceous notes such as laurel, fennel and aromatic scrubland plants.
Palate: In the mouth it is balanced with a light and refreshing acidity, offering some bitter notes typical of the Verdejo variety, and a tasty and long finish.
APPELLATION OF ORIGIN: Rueda.
WINEMAKING: Made from 100% Verdejo grapes.
CURIOSITIES: In the bastion of the rich whites of Rueda originates the 100% Verdejo experience. These wines of multiple mineral aromas and balanced acidity come from a selection of old vines, cultivated in sandy soils covered with pebbles in this land of literary rivers. Grapes from Viñas Familia Gil, in the south-east of the snow-covered province of Segovia, stand upright, a few vegetable survivors of reduced production. The vineyards treasure some of the jewels of Spain's oenological heritage, such as the free-standing vines, which guarantee pure varietal genetics and high quality wine. The Noah's ark of the Verdejo grape.
