TASTING NOTES
- Appearance: Cherry red color.
- Nose: Aromas of red fruits with floral and spicy notes.
- Palate: Tasty, fruity, fresh and easy to drink.
ELABORATION
Variety 100% Listán negro.
Manual harvest in boxes of 15 Kg.
10-day fermentation in open plastic buckets with their own yeasts.
Aged for 4 months in used barrels of 500 liters.
Finally, the wine goes to a stainless steel tank for natural decantation and bottling.
CURIOSITIES
Juan Francisco Fariña Pérez is an oenologist whose objective is the elaboration of wines in an artisanal way, a family tradition that he carries out in the Güímar Valley (Tenerife) since 1999, when he began bottling his own references.
This winery is very clear about the importance of the cultivation and maintenance of the vines to obtain a quality product. The vineyards are located in the heights of the municipality of Arafo, with an altitude above sea level between 750 and 800 meters.
