Curiosities:

The close history of Bodegas Chivite goes from the times of the Court of Isabel II of Spain to the toast of Isabel II of England in the Moncloa Palace or the toast of SS.MM. The King and Queen of Spain with all the presidents of the NATO member countries at the Madrid summit in 1997.

From 1647 until today, the Chivite family has been transmitting their winery from father to son without interruption. Julián Chivite has been a key figure in the world of Spanish wines of the 20th century. In recognition of this great effort, he received a tribute from the Regulatory Council of the Navarra designation of origin in 1980.

In 1992 he was awarded the Commendation of the Order of Agrarian Merit granted by the King of Spain and delivered by the then Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Mr. Pedro Solbes.

In 1997 the Government of Navarra awarded him the Cross of Carlos III the Noble posthumously for having contributed to placing the wines of Navarra among the most prestigious both nationally and internationally, achieving that his winery is currently recognized as one of the most prestigious in Spain.
