This family property It has existed since the end of the French Revolution. . the chateau is lying in the city of Preignac , 40 km south of Bordeaux, on the left bank of the Garonne.

The property has 15.5 hectares of vineyards made up of a 95% of Semillon , Sauvignon 4% and 1% Muscadelle.

The wines are succulents and well known for their exquisite and fruity aromas.

TASTING:

View: Yellow with amber reflections, fine oily drops, clean and bright.
Nose: floral aromas (acacia) and yellow fruit.
Mouth: A Wide on the palate, silky, good balance, good structure, aromatic persistence.

ELABORATION:

Château Violet-Lamonthe is made primarily from the Semillon variety, complemented by Sauvignon and a very small amount of Muscadelle. Grapes from vines of about 60 years of age from the 7 hectares of the family property.

Harvested by hand and going through different rigorous processes of successive selections in order to guarantee the optimum point of noble rot.
