Abadía Retuerta Selección Especial 2011 (*Tara)

Tasting Notes:

• Color: Of intense layer of maroon color.
• Nose: Notes of ripe red and black fruit (cherries, cherries, plums) to which are combined balsamic and spicy aromas (licorice) and those coming from a sweet wood.

Elaboracion Y Crianza:

Produced from the selection of the best grapes of each of its payments, it combines the richness of Tempranillo, the intensity of Syrah and the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon. The upbringing was 19 Months in French and American oak barrels .

Anada 2011:

After the hottest month of May in recent years, the vine plants sprouted very soon. There were no spring frosts, so the development of the plant maintained an improvement over previous years. The month of June was
Warm and continued the advance in the cycle, but a month of July of the coldest that are remembered in the last years, made the cycle of the vine was slowed down. The months of August and September were however very warm, so the plant was able to finish the cycle with very good maturity. The harvest of the red varieties began on September 19th. Curiosities:

Abbey Retuerta Special Selection of 2001 was awarded in the International Wine Challenge of London like the best red of the world in 2005.
