Tasting Notes:
The botanicals used are juniper, grains of paradise, orange, lemon, cilantro, regalíz, angelica, savoir and three other components of the formula that are kept strictly secret.
The final product is transparent and clean, soft on the palate, with good harmonization between alcohol and botanicals, and above all balanced, little perfumed, without highlighting any of its components.
Curiosities:
The distillery, Thames Distillers, where Fifty Pounds Gin is made, located southeast of London, has the prestige and solvency provided by a long tradition of more than two centuries. In fact, the master distiller of the distillery is the president of the Master of the Worshipful Company Distillers. This master follows the same procedure used for centuries, known as Batch Process Distillation, which is the best and most efficient way to obtain 'the finest gin spirit'.
Fifty Pounds Gin's success in the markets has been dazzling. Its premiere has exceeded all expectations: the first year since its international launch has not yet been fulfilled and it has already achieved recognition in the world's most famous and reputable spirits competition.
