Bodega Casa de la Viña is surrounded by more than 3,000 hectares of vineyards, one of the largest extensions in Europe.

As a stage recreated for the adventures of the illustrious hidalgo, Bodega Casa de La Viña shows all its charm in the great patios of La Mancha, intact as time goes by. Pioneer in the elaboration of wines of Valdepeñas, was illustrious manor house when being acquired by the Count of Casavaliente in 1857.

At present and under the seal of quality of Wines of the Land of Castile, this estate with history elaborates potent and fleshy wines, thanks to a microclimate that favors the cultivation of the varieties Cencibel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Airen.

Its production is distributed between wines of Denomination of Origin Valdepeñas and labels with the seal of quality of Wines of the Land of Castile.

The vineyards

Bodega Casa de la Viña enjoys its own micro-climate. The varieties present in this winery are Tempranillo (denominated Cencibel in these lands), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Airén (the latter, the native variety of the area).

The oenologist.

Guadalupe Valdés, from our winery at Casa de la Viña, leads a team of professionals who strive every day to express the characteristics of our La Mancha lands and to translate them into the production of high quality wines.

In Casa de la Viña we look for the character of our best grapes of the area in all its varieties: Tempranillo or Cencibel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Ponot Noir and Airén, which give rise to wines characterized by a deep red cherry color. The fruity touches are perfectly combined with the spicy notes, obtaining in this way fleshy wines, unctuous and persistent.
