The large root system of the "old vines" means that drought conditions may find water more easily than young vines, ensuring growth and maturation of the regular fruit. This, combined with lower yields from these vineyards, produces superb fruit for winemaking.
Ruby red high intensity, with brick tones showing its age. Clean and bright. Its aroma, spicy, with notes of snuff.
Hints of red fruits, ripe stone fruit, black fruit and nuts, vanilla and nut notes, and a touch of oak in which the wine has matured. In the mouth the first impression is of a velvety softness, but opens immediately in a full-bodied wine that fills the mouth. Complex palate with excellent oak notes. Quality tannins and well integrated wood. Powerful end. She came alive, very modern, heralding a good evolution.
