Curiosities: During the 80's
the Special Reserves of Martinez Lacuesta they became known as the
Wine of Kings and Popes , since in all the trips and in the majority of gala dinners, visits of foreign agents or at Christmas our wines were served. This is attested by numerous menus of official meals and dinners as well as commemorative labels of those years: trip to Santiago de Compostela of his SS John Paul II in 1982, trip to Spain of his SS John Paul II in 1989, trip of SS.MM. the Kings of Spain to Bangkok and many others.
