Tasting notes:- Color: Intense ruby color.
- Nose: Aromas of red fruits well assembled with notes of fine wood and smoked.
- Mouth: Velvety, well structured, with a long and elegant finish.
Ageing and Elaboration:After a winter with normal temperatures and rainfall for the DOCa Rioja, the year was marked by high temperatures in spring and summer, and by the absence of rain in the most dangerous moments for the vineyard. As a result of these factors the state of health of the vines was very good but there was an average advance of three weeks in the harvest. As a result, the year was rated very good in the area with the only drawback of not reaching full maturity. For this reason, the wines from this vintage are typically Rioja wines with a little more alcohol content and a good balance between acidity and ripeness.
